      Seeking to globalize, the Shuang Hor Group formally established its first overseas affiliate-the Shuang Hor Enterprise (M) SDN. BHD.-on August 16, 1988. Our Malaysian sales have flourished, and we have enjoyed a growth rate that inspires jealousy in our competitors. Because Malaysian government appreciates the potential of our business, it had the Department of Trade and Consumption draft and implement a direct sales law in 1993 as a means of controlling and promoting the development of the direct sales industry. Since the time this law was enacted, the image of the direct sales industry and salesperson has risen sharply.

Public Welfare Activities

•  Sponsorship of the "Malaysian World Wide Fund for Nature" 
      Based on our business philosophy of "giving back to society what we receive from society," we enthusiastically donated M,000 to the Malaysian branch of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in May 1999. The purpose of this donation is to take a first step in the promotion of environmental conservation work. In addition, we have also purchased 2,000 commemorative bookmarks worth M,000 to fund the "Environmental Protection 08" activity.

•Blood Drive
      On November 3, 1996-the same day that we held our Diamond Promotion Conference-we sponsored a joint blood drive in conjunction with the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital Blood Bank. This activity elicited an enthusiastic response from those present, and the blood bank received an exceptional 300 bags of blood on that single day.

• Participation in and Sponsorship of the "Nanyang Jogathon"
      Shuang Hor employees mobilized on July 14, 1996 to participate in the "Nanyang Jogathon" organized by the Nanyang Siang Pau, and Shuang Hor also donated a computer as a prize for the event. Apart from promoting popular enthusiasm for exercise, this event also helped raise fund for education for primary schools and private Chinese secondary schools. A strong supporter of Chinese education, Shuang Hor spared no pains to make the event a success. We are always doing our part to promote the lifelong task of education.

• Sponsorship of the "Korean Little Angels Charity Performance" 
      Shuang Hor sponsored the Korean Little Angels Charity Performance, which was organized by the Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles and co-organized by the National Welfare Foundation. This event was held on January 3~6, 1996 at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir personally accepted the donations from the event.

• A Leading Contributor to Society 
      Wishing contribute generously to society, Shuang Hor donated M,000 to fund the National Welfare Foundation in January 1996.

• Sponsorship of the 1994 Shuang Hor Prince Inter-team Open Badminton Championship
      The purpose of sponsoring this event was to increase interest in exercise, promote good health, and to discover talented new badminton players. Responding to the calls of the Malaysian Anti-Drug Association, Shuang Hor also sponsored the "1994 Anti-Drug Poster Design Competition Show" on the day of the badminton championship to raise people's awareness of the danger of drugs, and help keep young people drug-free.
In addition, Shuang Hor also conducted a blood drive at the scene of the above activities with the full cooperation of the Malaysian Central Hospital.

When the Japanese rescue team stationed in Taiwan returned home, Shuang Hor sent a delegation to Haneta Airport to express gratitude to the team. NHK TV broadcast this event on their evening news program.

• Providing Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 
      Many Japanese health food media and public welfare groups have requested Shuang Hor (Japan) to provide information on traditional Chinese medicine, associated knowledge and life philosophy.
